catching up

just when I thought I would have time to post - POOF! Time magically disappears...

From the top then, there were hikes, bikes, parties, relatives, pets, wets, presents, and even the death of a beloved family pet.

just a walk

Tuesday was a no school day as the weather threatened in the morning. Not much happened in town other than some light flurries. We went up to Bennett Gap and walked to Saddle Gap. Very pretty, very windy, and much fun to get out with my son.

The sky was grey, the sky was blue, it was snowing, it wasn't snowing... but it was always blowing and the sound of the wind in the branches consumes the senses.

Yet beauty abounds in nature, no matter what the weather....
